Here's something I've learned after teaching photography for the past decade, and doing it myself for four:
Photography was never really a camera problem. It's a seeing problem.
Your camera can only capture what you've already noticed. If you haven't trained your eye to see the light, the story, the moment before it happens, no lens on earth will save the photo.
That's the gap. Not between you and a better camera. Between what you see, and what you capture.
